Collect All in One Place
Compare is the spreadsheet of all tickers, with all measurements and predictions, both technicals and fundamentals. Easiest is to toggle only the tickers on the efficient or swing frontier, then sort them by size, or by portfolio allocation, then by group. Next, sort all your selected tickers by the next level of details: risk, efficiency, swing, ratings, undervalue. Don’t forget to check debt and cash flow too.
The goal is to select tickers, with no abnormal red cells, only green cells that will repeat, from each group & risk interval, to have a diversified portfolio that will give you maximum expected return, at minimum exposed risk, in future years, in both good times and bad.
Use the graphs on the right to have a visual plot of the selected tickers in risk x return space, so you see the rough center and radius of your portfolio performance.
Focus is where you input your list of tickers or stock tips, so they are compared to 50-best on efficient or swing frontier.
How To is where you find up-to-date definition of the columns, and short how-to recipes. Check out the values for red and green cells. Remember +/- 70% is value for log of 2x up/down. We use z-score to display: red = few bad (-2), white = most-frequent (0), green = few good (+2).
Efficient Frontier shows how the best-fit line to 100-best tickers have rotated about cash = (0, 0) in the past 15 years, how risk has been very invariant, and only increased 2x around 2008 and 2020 crash.
Check out the efficient portfolio, if you invested on the efficient frontier in the past 15 years and what happened in 2008 and 2020.
Swing Frontier shows the best-fit line to 100 efficient tickers with the largest decrease in risk and the largest increase in return, compared to the market. The prices of these tickers usually bottom out, their future drops will be smaller, and their future gains will be larger, so their efficiency will improve very fast. Research to see if this sharp increase in efficiency is from a real change in fundamentals before investing.
